Ikawa Menpa is a handmade lunch box bento made of hinoki (Japanese cypress), using the method of bending wooden plate, sewing with wild cherry bark and painting with Japanese lacquer (urushi). Urushi gradually becomes deep and rich day by day. Eiichi Mochizuki who is in the sixth generation succeeding in the family business, is now challenging new directions.
